Q. I'm a dermatologist by profession and I read somewhere regarding aloe vera benefits.
Luckily, I got aloe vera juice and since 10 days I have been using it. Since then I have noticed my appetite has increased and my constipation relieved. Meanwhile my blood sugar level falls to 100mg/dl postprandial.

Does aloe vera juice have any role in hypertension and diabetes?

A. Does aloe vera juice have any role in hypertension? Yes, it does have a role in helping against hypertension.
It is because of the vitamin b12 in aloe vera. It helps you maintain a healthy cardiovascular system.

A persistent high blood pressure may be caused by prolonged stress. It may also be a complication of heart disease, kidney disease or diabetes.

If you are obese, chances are, you have hypertension. Obesity is also often associated with diabetes.

Other Risk Factors

Alcohol Abuse
Cigarette Smoking
Lack of Physical Activity
Too Much Salt Intake
Too Little Potassium Intake
Vitamin D Deficiency

Do You Have These Symptoms?

Dizziness
Fatigue
Flushing
Headache
Ringing in The Ears

By the way, although aloe vera helps against hypertension, it is more effective in dealing with your problem if it is used in combination with other health supplements.

Alternative Hypertension Remedy

I have to remind you though, this is not meant to replace your doctor's advice. You still have to consult your doctor.

Regarding diabetes, aloe vera helps make your pancreas function properly so it can regulate insulin secretions. Its fiber content helps control the absorption of glucose in your stomach.

Of course, it would help greatly if you eat more high fiber foods and exercise more often.

You should also minimize your consumption of carbohydrates and fats.

Here's additional information regarding causes, complications and what activities help in avoiding diabetes.

And so there you have it. Hope you now have a better appreciation regarding the role of aloe vera juice in hypertension and diabetes.

Hope this helps.
