A. You asked how many bottles of aloe vera gel you should consume for your chronic kidney disease, also known as chronic kidney failure.

I'd hate to disappoint you, but it is best that you should coordinate with your doctor regarding your present condition.

Although aloe gel is widely regarded as a cleanser, nourisher, healer and as a food supplement, it is in your best interest to let your nephrologist know about your intention of taking aloe vera gel.

And one more thing, don't attempt to self-medicate at home.

What is CKD?

CKD or chronic kidney disease is, more often than not, the result of a complication of another medical condition.
It happens gradually over a long period of time.

To make matters worse, symptoms usually do not manifest themselves until damage to your kidneys has been done already.

The 2 most common causes of chronic kidney failure are diabetes and high blood pressure.

Other causes of chronic kidney failure are cysts, kidney infections and auto-immune disorders such as lupus erythematosus.

My point is, the underlying cause must be addressed first and the best way to know is by coordinating with your nephrologist.

Here's why.

Your doctor would probably conduct some tests to find out the underlying medical condition that caused the chronic kidney failure in the first place.

Since diabetes and high blood pressure are the two health conditions widely regarded as the most common causes of chronic kidney disease, the best thing you can do right now is protect your kidneys by keeping your blood sugar levels under control.

Here's more

  • Watch your diet, avoid fatty foods

  • Don't smoke

  • Limit your salt intake. This is to avoid fluid retention that might result in edema

  • You might have to limit the volume of fluid intake as well, I'm sure your doctor would recommend it

  • There are certain medications that you have to avoid such as, NSAIDs or Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs

I also suggest you see either Ms. Yas or Dr. Nonoy Puaso. Each of them has helped a lot of people with medical problems.

I'm sure either one of them can help you with your chronic kidney failure and besides, they know more about how much aloe gel you should consume per day and for how long.

Hope this helps,

Edwin K.
